Took a Thai cooking class today at the Baan Thai Cooking School. The other people in the class were of all ages and nationalities, so it was really cool! There was a woman from the UK, 4 people from Israel, a guy from Iceland, a couple from Alaska, a girl from Saskatchewan, an older guy from Australia, and a really older guy from New York. Oh, and a lady from China with her annoying kid that kept running around. We each got to choose 6 dishes to make, and we ate all of them! 6 dishes over the course of 5 hours....needless to say, I didn't need any dinner tonight. And as it turns out, I apparently like things really really spicy. They said add one pepper to dishes for low spicy, 2 for medium, 3 for very spicy, and 7 or more for "Thai spicy". In one dish, I added 15 peppers. And after tasting, I totally could have used more. The things you learn about yourself...
